About the festival
A new cross border festival-format brings the line-up to Denmark, Sweden and Norway in one weekend.
After its debut in 2025, Another Festival returns this October with a new and ambitious format: a collaborative festival experience spanning three cities in three countries over one weekend. Taking place from 8.-11. October 2026, the festival will unfold across VoxHall in Aarhus, Pustervik in Gothenburg, and Folken in Stavanger creating a unique cross border platform for music in Scandinavia.
This innovative venue festival format offers a fresh alternative to traditional festivals. Instead of bringing the audience to one destination, Another Festival brings the festival to the audience.
From 8.-11. October 2026, the festival will move between the three venues:
VoxHall, Aarhus, Denmark: 8.-9. October
Pustervik, Gothenburg, Sweden: 9.-10. October
Folken, Stavanger, Norway: 10.-11. October
New possibilities for artists and audiences
The new partnership makes it possible to present international artists who might not otherwise tour the region by offering artists several performances in one booking.
“With Another Festival, we want to create a venue-based festival format that works across borders. By working together with venues in Sweden and Norway, we can create new opportunities for both artists and audiences,”
says Jeppe Hofmeister from VoxHall.
For Pustervik, the collaboration is also about strengthening the platform for new music in the Nordic region.
“Another Festival is about bringing exciting new artists to our cities and building a stronger platform for contemporary music together,”
says Martin Hultqvist from Pustervik.
At Folken, the value lies in giving local audiences access to artists they would not normally experience live.
“This collaboration gives our audience the chance to experience artists that otherwise might not come to Stavanger,”
says Jesper Brodersen from Folken.
With a shared line-up across three countries, Another Festival 2026 presents a new way of thinking about festivals based on collaboration, stronger touring possibilities and shared cultural experiences across Scandinavia.
